Are you ready to move beyond standard data center fit-outs and help build the physical backbone of a global AI cloud?

We are representing a world-leading technology firm that is making a multi-billion dollar investment in its global AI capabilities. They are urgently seeking experienced Data Center Designers for a mission-critical infrastructure expansion in Sydney and Melbourne.

This is a rare opportunity to join a high-priority, large-scale project from the ground up and in flight, contributing your expertise to a team that is shaping the future of cloud computing. This is a long-term contract role offering the chance to work on ground breaking projects of immense scale and complexity.

We are hiring for roles from Mid-Career to Lead level across their Sydney and Melbourne offices.

What you’ll be doing:
You will be responsible for creating and managing the design of data center white space, including rack layouts, power distribution, and network infrastructure for a major cloud platform. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and co location providers to ensure engineering standards are met for this critical global project.

What you'll bring to the team:

• Proven professional experience working in critical data center environments.
• Experience creating design drawings using AutoCAD/Revit or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of data center electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
• PUE experience
• Experience MOPs/SOPs/EOPs for carrying out systems operations
• Understanding of BMS/EPMS control systems and data collection/trending.
